Walking in my Favorite Quarters of Nice
Nice is mostly known for its beautiful old town and its famous coastal drive, the Promenade des Anglais, but there is much more to see in the city. Follow me on this morning walking tour and let me show you my favourite quarters in town.
Tour Description
Let’s start the tour in a very French way with a Café au Lait and a Croissant at the outdoor market of my quarter. Absorb the ambiance of a beautiful part of town where mostly locals live and let me introduce you to a different side of Nice.
We then take the tramway together and head to the opposite side of the city, the port. While we walk through the colorful back streets, I will explain you how Nice has become one of the most famous winter resorts in Europe in the 19th century and why it has so much in common with Italy.
Of course I will also show you some of my favorite Restaurants for your dinner experiences among locals.
We will also explore some hidden back streets of the old town and finally take a walk up to castle hill for some breathtaking views.
You will see and learn a lot on this guided walk and hopefully you will fall in love with Nice just like I did.
