Hello, my name is Ingrid
I am a one woman company and an Official Licensed Guide.
I live in Nice and I am passionate about sharing my insights to this wonderful region with you.
My best tour so far I had a fabulous experience with Kultours whose owner is Ingrid. She is an excellent guide and we took a private tour with her for two days. She took us to Antibes , Cannes , Monaco 🇲🇨, Montecarlo. She also helped us with bookings at a local restaurant and recommended best photo points and even clicked some beautiful family picture. She is caring and also helped us when my little son was not feeling good due to the weather. She accommodates and adjusts the tours for these exigencies so that overall we make the best utilisation of available time. She is a great and is highly recommended for anyone doing a private French Riviera tour in her beautiful Mercedes Van
AMAZING tour guide!! Ingrid is full of historic, trivia, & tidbit facts/information about the entire French Riviera. We hired her for 2 days and she never disappointed us. Learned much about Nice, coastline, Eze, Monaco, Monte Carlo. 3 countries in ONE hour - she made it happened! France, Italy & Monaco. She told us it was the "perfect" time of the year to visit - few tourists & reduced prices, including hotel & shops. 2nd day was spent in Antibes (where Picasso lived 5 months/1946), small family run winery, St. Paul de Vence & more. Picnics both days - breathtaking views of countryside. She brought cloth tablecloths/wine glasses - niceities to add to experience!.Our trip seems surreal now, but we have boundless treasured memories thanks to Ingrid!
Ingrid's love of her part of the world exudes. I have just returned from a 7-day Meditteranean cruise with a final cruise French stop in Cannes. Our desire to visit the French Riviera was overwhelming satisfied and surpassed by our fortune to tour with Ingrid. First, I arrived in Cannes seriously ill with an upper respiratory ailment. By 9 AM she had us at a pharmacy near an outdoor market after viewing the largest Yacht in the world. The meds help some. As it was my wife's birthday, Ingrid made her day special...including Mercedes van ascension to a mountain top with a breathing taking view, picnic (with items we purchased) and a birthday song for the wife. I will say this was truly a once I a lifetime experience. I hope to one-day see and speak with Ingrid again. Andy and Beatrice
You won't go wrong with Ingrid! We booked a private tour with Ingrid well in advance of our multi-day stay in Nice and are so glad that we chose to go with her on our first day in the lovely Cote d'Azur. Through early communication with her, we gave her an idea of our interest in the history and culture of the area, and she tailored a tour that fit us well. On a drive along the coast, Ingrid gave us opportunities for photo stops while explaining some of the area's history. Next was an early morning visit to Eze, with a coffee break and visits to several small shops where Ingrid was greeted warmly by shop keepers and staff. We found it interesting to learn about and see how goods are brought into the village on carts since cars, etc. are not allowed. Not unlike the earliest days of Eze! We were especially happy that Ingrid suggested slipping into Italy, where we had a delicious lunch she prearranged, and walked through Dolceacqua, admiring the workmanship of medieval people. We made several other stops throughout the day including an Italian market. When we mentioned places we were considering in the following days, Ingrid shared some insight into them and made additional suggestions, many of which we included. One tip was to see the film about Chagall at the Museum. She also noted some favorite restaurants in Old Nice and the area where we stayed. Ingrid is knowledgable, warm and fun, and also an excellent driver! You won't go wrong booking a tour with her!
Fantastic day out with Ingrid We had a fantastic family day out with Ingrid as our guide - two grandparents (60s), mum, dad and daughter (18 months). We arranged an itinerary on the day; a trip to Antibes for a walk round the market and coffee, then to St Paul du Vance for a walk round the cobbled streets and lunch (Ingrid booked an amazing restaurant for us), finishing up at Monaco with a short walk round Monte Carlo and drinks at a cafe. Throughout the day Ingrid adapted the itinerary to fit our requirements - including when our daughter needed nap times! Not too easy. Highly recommend a private tour with Ingrid as it allowed us to fit so much in one day (8.30-5.30), at a leisurely pace, dropped off at the best point with guidance on where to go and what best to see. Ingrid provides great local knowledge and also a wealth of historical information and background, which added so much to the day. Definitely worth the cost and recommend to any small group who is in the area for a short time, first time visitors and those who want to visit these fantastic places along the French Riviera with local knowledge and guidance. Thanks again Ingrid for a fantastic day from me and all the family.
Great day touring We were very happy with our tour with Ingrid. She took us to great locations like Vence and a wonderful winery where we had a fantastic picnic lunch and met the owner of the winery who was so nice. She was informative and so kind making sure it was a special day for us. We even bought a beautiful painting in St Paul de Vence. It was a great day!!
Epic Private Tour of Nice, Eze, Monaco & Menton Ingrid has to be the best tour guide we have ever had. We weren't sure were to go. A quick email and some thoughts on where we were thinking of going and away we went Ingrid picked us up at our hotel promptly 830am, we traveled to Eze, a secret resturant high in the mountains, then a quick drive thru Menton, a stop in Monaco. All with history, a pleasant smile, stops for delightful food and delivery back to out hotel. We are coming back so Ingrid can so us more of the South of France. Bonjour.
Wonderful Experience-Exceptional guide Traveled with my husband and two teenage grandaughters on a cruise which stopped at the port in Antibes France. We prearranged an all day tour with Ingrid of Kultours via the internet where she gave suggestions based on our time frame and interests. She was waiting for us at the pier upon our disembarkation from the ship. We walked to a wonderful open air local market where we purchased a variety of fresh foods for a suggested picnic lunch on our tour. After walking around a bit, we stopped for a coffee and snack before we left Antibes. Ingrid took us on tour in an immaculate and very comfortable Mercedes minivan. We toured the beautiful environs of the French Riviera, made some notable stops, including Gourdon and St Paul de Vence, and stopped for a picnic lunch in a spectacular overlook. Ingrid was so well organized that she had a portable picnic table with chairs, tablecloth, utensils etc. Ingrid has a kind and friendly demeanor and our grandaughters thought she was wonderful and stylish to boot. The day flew by and we were sad to end the tour and wished we could have had another day with Ingrid. Exceptional tour guide and very flexible.
Wonderful day tour with Ingrid that captured the essence of the French Riviera! We booked an all day tour with Ingrid and she arrived promptly in a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van with big windows for the best views. She was very charming and shared some history lessons about Nice and its relationships with Turin and France as we drove along the coast to Antibes. We parked at the harbor and she walked us through the colorful, flower lined streets of this port city now popular with the wealthy Yacht owners; we got a special peek at an absinthe bar; and enjoyed the sights and smells of the farmer’s market. From there we drove up into the coastal alps to our now favorite little village in France, Gourdon, for lunch on a terrace with a fabulous view of the hills and the Mediterranean. She left us some free time for shopping at the local shops for linens and gifts...or in my husband’s case, to keep enjoying the terrace view and finish the rose. Ingrid shared a little history on where you should build your castles to avoid pirates as she drove along the twisty mountain roads to small medieval villages “without parking for tour buses” so we could enjoy the uncrowded, charming little streets and shops. She even squeezed in a detour so I could see the lavender fields in bloom! Overall, this was a great experience and allowed us to have a much broader perspective of Nice and the surrounding area, as something much more than just a beachside resort. And Ingrid’s personal touches, professionalism, local knowledge, and friendliness were a major contribution to our wonderful experience.
Outstanding day in French Riviera We chose Ingrid and her colleague Yvonne for a full day tour of French Riviera on shore excursion from the Disney Magic. Three generations came on this trip including my wife and I, our kids and 4 granddaughters. What a day we had! First off to mountaintop village of Eze with its great sites and fabulous views. Next on to Nice - so much more than I had expected. Beautiful old city on the Mediterranean with great history and culture. Finally off to Monaco where we wandered the town and went into the casino. Lots of rich and famous here. Overall, the best private tour of our 10 day western med cruise. Ingrid was so kind, knowledgable, insightful, and really interested in showing us the best of the French Riviera. Would recommend her highly. Last but not least, our full day tour was very reasonable cost for 10 people - much cheaper than shore excursions by Disney.
